NextSeq 500/550 Kit Requirements

A single-use NextSeq 500/550 Kit is required to perform a sequencing run.

Requirements & Compatibility

Flow Cell Types

Use the appropriate reagent cartridge for a given flow cell type. Each reagent cartridge and flow cell is marked with either High or Mid for easy identification. The buffer cartridge is universal.

Hybridization Buffer

* Reagents are sensitive to light. Store the reagent cartridge and buffer cartridge in a dark location away from light.

** NextSeq v2.5 flow cells are shipped at ambient temperature; once received, store the flow cell at 2° - 8°.

† HT1 is used to dilute libraries before sequencing. For more information, see NextSeq System Denature and Dilute Libraries Guide (part # 15048776).
