The ScriptSeq Complete Kit (Plant Leaf) was discontinued November 2018. Use TruSeq Stranded Total RNA Library Prep Plant as an alternative.
The kit removes ribosomal RNA in one pass, creating a stranded sequencing library. Sequencing data contain complete transcriptome of coding and non-coding RNA species.
The kit is compatible with small samples, requiring only 100 ng total RNA input. When the protocol is complete, sequence the libraries using any Illumina sequencing system.
The kit requires FailSafe PCR Enzyme Mix. The Ribo-Zero rRNA Removal Solution provided with the kits contains probes for removal of the 5S cytoplasmic and 5S mitochondrial rRNA.
